Announcements
Thank You Notes have been received for donations from RHCI, Children's Place, Habitat for
Humanity, Community Action Committee/Safe Harbor, Cape Cod Health Care
Foundation/Visiting Nurse Association Children's Fund, Latham Center, CapeAbilities,
Salvation Army, Orleans Council on Aging for the Cranberry Bread, and Dream Day. Dream
Day will be using the funds for their Annual Dream Day Holiday Weekend, Dec 4-6.
Len has updated hard-copy lists for members to pick up – Committees and Program/Greeter
responsibilities. Please remember to pick up one of each, and check the lists for your name!
Don’t forget: Save toiletries and calendars for Safe Harbor
CLE Training: Old Country Buffet in Hyannis from 9--3 on Saturday, November 14
Art of Murder: Tonight a number of our members will be attending this play at the
Chatham Drama Guild. Bob and Marge Widegren's son, Paul, has a lead role.
Fall Conference in North Conway, NH is November 20-22. We will have excellent
representation this year. Our club is donating 2 baskets to the First Lady's Silent Auction.
Money from the auction will go to the children of parents who are in the service.
Please sign up for Gov Dave Koohy's visit to our division on December 1 at the Yarmouth
House. See Jack Brown or Len for details and reservation form. Price has been reduced to
$30.00.
Dream Day: Len and Bob D toured the facility with Kathleen last Tuesday (11/10). A number
of opportunities for assistance were raised. The kitchen needs shelving and a handicapped
doorway accessing the dining room. Picnic tables need to be stained or painted. According
to the Fire Inspector, the chimney needs to be cleaned. Many hands will make light work.
Keep your ears open for work days and help if you can.

What do you think? Is it me?
$ $ $ HAPPY DOLLARS $ $ $
Many $$s rolled in for our guests and
general happiness this morning. It is always
good to share breakfast with Mashpee-
whether it is on Thursday morning or Friday
morning. Gerry did complain about having
to get up in the "wee hours," however. Hal
was happy for the scallops; Charlie that his
mother-in-law has stopped driving; Ed for
our membership; and Lou to be back. Joe
Marino went out on a limb and
congratulated Mary Jane. Bob D
remembered D-Day. Dianne is happy to
know where she is going and when.
(Hopefully, this bulletin will be a helpful
reminder, as well, since we have 9 Kiwanis
events in the next three weeks!) And Len
(who's counting?) told us that in 22 days he
will be on vacation.

Thanks to those members, spouses and friends who helped!
